PAUL Hollywood has been dumped by his girlfriend Summer Monteys-Fullam following his split from his wife of 19-years, Alexandra Hollywood, who he separated with in 2017.
The Great British Bake Off judge and his estranged wife were granted a decree nisi and now Paul could face a £5 million payout to his former spouse. Here's the lowdown on him...
Have Paul Hollywood and Alexandra Hollywood divorced?
The Great British Bake Off's Paul Hollywood and his wife Alexandra announced news of their split on November 20, 2017: "It is with sadness that we have decided to separate. Our focus continues to be the happiness of our son, and we would ask the press and public to allow us privacy as a family during this very difficult time."
One insider told The Sun following news of the split: "The truth is they’ve worked really hard to salvage their relationship but just couldn’t recover from the damage that had been done.
“The more famous Paul has become, the more attention he has been getting, and that has put a huge strain on the marriage."
The estranged couple were granted a divorce on Friday, July 19, 2019 by District Judge Robert Duddridge at the Central Family Court in London.
He granted a decree nisi, which is the first step towards the divorce being finalised, a decree absolute has to be granted for it be be annulled.
Cheshire-born Paul met his wife Alexandra in Cyprus in 1996 while she was working as a diving instructor at the five-star hotel where he was head baker.
They married in that country in 1998 and had a son in October 2001, called Josh.
Paul, who is the son of bakery proprietor, John F. Hollywood, and Alexandra came close to divorcing in 2013 after reports spread that he'd been enjoying a romance with his American Baking Competition co-host Marcela Valladolid.
It has been claimed that Paul asked Alex to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)during their marriage break-up.
But the food writer, and mother of his teenage son, refused — just like Summer Monteys-Fullam did.
Who is his ex-girlfriend Summer Monteys-Fullam?
Summer Moneys-Fullam, 24, was a barmaid at Paul's local pub, The Duke William, in Ickham, Kent.
She grew fairly close to Paul and received a lot of stick from her friends because of their courtship.
It emerged that the pair had a date at London hotel The Dorchester where Summer, who is 30 years younger than Paul, was wined and dined.
Her friends would post pictures of Hollywood to her social media from when he wore the Nazi uniform.
Summer has since quit her job at the Duke William over her colleagues and friends taking the mickey.
On 31 March 2018, The Sun exclusively revealed that Paul had whisked his lover away on a romantic getaway to Mauritius where they stayed at a £1,000-a-night villa.
However, Alex reportedly disputes that the TV presenter only started a relationship with barmaid Summer Monteys-Fullam after the marriage breakdown.
Have Summer Monteys-Fullam and Paul Hollywood split?
On Friday, August 2, 2019, The Sun exclusively revealed Summer had sensationally dumped The Great British Bake Off judge.
She is believed to have ended their romance after he asked her to sign a gagging order, forbidding her to discuss their relationship.
Paul is thought to have drew up the non-disclosure agreement following his divorce with ex-wife Alexandra.
Summer is said to have stormed out of the TV star's mansion in the middle of the night after he presented her with the document.
A source said: “It’s over for good" and that the former barmaid was furious with his "controlling behaviour".
It has been reported the beauty believed the TV chef would propose, before she was handed an NDA.
According to The Mirror, she thought a ring was on the way, as he was granted a nisi decree.
In thinly veiled attacks on his Instagram page, Paul accused Summer of trying to reveal details of their romance and “courting paps”.
In an explosive statement, the former barmaid retaliated by alleging he would “be furious and shout at me” whenever she was photographed in public.
Summer blasted: “His claims that I’m making money selling stories are totally false!
“I felt so betrayed by the NDA, particularly with how much pressure Paul and his lawyers put me under to sign it.
She added: “I had clearly demonstrated loyalty to Paul during our relationship, and he knows that without question.”
The former barmaid has since hinted that she was "wasting her time" with an old guy.
Summer took to Instagram to like a series of comments supporting her actions.
"Why waste your time with an old guy. You are very pretty," one fan commented.
Summer liked the comment and replied with a heart emoji.
Did Paul Hollywood's ex-girlfriend Summer Monteys-Fullam get in a spat with his ex-wife Alexandra
Hollywood?
Yes - In February 2019 The Sun exclusively revealed that Alexandra had got into a fiery spat with Summer.
The pair had bumped into each other while shopping at a Marks & Spencer.
Witnesses said Alex Hollywood, 54, called Summer Monteys-Fullam, 23, a “slut” and “whore”.
Cops were called amid claims one of Summer’s group hammered on her window as she drove off after the row spilled into the car park.
Furious Alex told Summer: “Do you know how much you’ve hurt my son?”
A shopper in Canterbury, Kent, said: “I was totally disgusted by the language.
"She called the younger woman a slut and whore. It’s just not the sort of behaviour you expect at Marks and Sparks.
“But she also said, ‘Do you know how much you’ve hurt my son?’, and that’s when you realise what it was all about.”
But mum Alex insisted she was an innocent victim in the row at 4pm — and called police complaining of harassment.
The fireworks began when the pair bumped into each other at the store's checkouts. Summer was with sister Saskia, 26, and mum Sabina, 48, while Alex was alone.
A friend of Alex’s said: “She was so shocked to see Summer that all she could say was, ‘Do you know how much you’ve hurt my son?’
“Summer laughed and started filming as Alex walked to her car.
“That’s when the other women started verbally abusing her. Alex was shaken and called the police.”
Kent Police confirmed they had attended reports of a disturbance adding: “Enquiries were carried out in which all parties involved were given words of advice.”
Alex believes it wasn’t a coincidence that Summer appeared next to her in the M&S queue.
A source said: “Alex would see this as Summer being vindictive and childish. It seems Summer is saying ‘f*** you’ to Alex, and ‘Watch this space!’ to everyone who said her and Paul’s relationship won’t last.”
What is Paul Hollywood’s baking experience?
After quitting his course at the Wallasey School of Art, Paul was employed in his dad’s bakery in York.
He worked in a number of different pastry, bread and cake outlets before he was promoted to head baker.
Hollywood has held this role in countless prestigious hotels, including The Dorchester, Chester Grosvenor and Spa and the Cliveden Hotel.
Paul’s grandfather also had a similar occupation, as he worked as head baker at The Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool.
In 2015, Paul competed in Le Mans and came first in his class at the GT Cup with partner Johnny Adam.
The experienced baker shares many of his recipes and tips on his official website.
When he’s not in the kitchen, car aficionado Hollywood enjoys taking part in motor racing.
He has also starred in his own TV show on Channel 4, A Baker's Life, a spin-off from his latest book.
What is Paul Hollywood’s net worth?
The Sun exclusively revealed that Paul Hollywood is worth an eye-watering £10million.
He has almost £8.8million of assets in his new company HJP Media LLP, latest accounts show.
The no-nonsense judge has also raked in a further £1.2milion in a company called Paul Hollywood Limited.
New GBBO expert Prue Leith has revealed that she’s earning THREE TIMES more than former judge Mary Berry.
Following the news that Hollywood has probably signed an equally lucrative pay-cheque, the star has recently invested in a £1.45million mansion.
Why did Paul Hollywood leave the BBC to remain as a GBBO judge?
Some fans were NOT happy with Paul Hollywood when he announced he would be leaving the BBC behind to take-up work on the Channel 4 revamp.
He clapped back at some Bake Off fans for villainising him over the decision, but it seems that even Mary Berry was a little irritated by it.
Despite this, a friend of Paul told The Sun that it was Paul’s ambition that encouraged him to take the new job.
The source said: “Paul is one of the most driven people you will ever meet, and he was never going to go along with the rest of them at his own personal expense.
“He knows his association with Bake Off is the main thing that makes him marketable. He was never going to walk away."
When is The Great British Bake Off 2019 on?
The Great British Bake Off is expected to return to Channel 4 in August, however, no official date has been confirmed.
The show is famously known for running consecutively for ten weeks, so we’re not expecting anything different with the upcoming edition.
This would mean the baking show wouldn’t conclude its forthcoming series until October, very much keeping to a similar schedule from past years.
With that said, we're still waiting for Channel 4's announcement, so hold tight!
